Although Durood Sharif can be recited at any time, there are special moments when reciting it carries extra reward, such as during Friday prayers, after hearing the Adhan, or during personal supplications.
The Prophet (PBUH) mentioned that the best day to send Durood is on Friday, as he said, “Increase your sending of Durood on me on Friday because it is presented to me.” Reciting Durood after Adhan is also highly recommended, as it brings blessings in both this life and the next.
