Imam Ali (A.S) said:
“Giving charity increases the wealth and reduces difficulties.”

A narration from Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A) states that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
“Charity does not decrease wealth; rather, it increases it.”

This hadith emphasizes that charity increases wealth rather than diminishing it, as Allah’s mercy adds to it.

When a person gives a portion of their earnings as charity, Allah places blessings in their wealth. Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (R.A) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said:

Not only does charity bring blessings to wealth, but it also expiates sins. When a person spends in Allah’s way, Allah forgives their sins and grants peace to their hearts.

Imam Ali (R.A) said:
“Charity erases sins as water extinguishes fire.”

• Financial Charity: Giving money to the poor or needy.
• Practical Charity: Helping others, such as providing assistance or guidance.

Hazrat Aisha (R.A) narrated that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
“Whoever gives charity, Allah fills their life with peace and joy.”

7. Prayers for Blessings in Livelihood

For blessings in livelihood, we should pray to Allah to increase our sustenance and grant us the ability to give charity. The Prophet (PBUH) taught us a prayer:
“اللّٰہُمّ بارِک لَنَا فِی رِزْقِنَا”
